HEAT PUMPS

Heat pumps have the ability to move heat energy from one environment to another in two directions. This allows the heat pump to bring heat into your home (providing heating) or take it away (providing cooling).

While a geo-thermal pump utilizes energy stored under the ground, a standard heat pump draws heat from the air. Heat pumps work best in moderate climates where winter temperatures do not get too low, making them a more energy-efficient alternative to a standard forced air heating system here on the West Coast.
